History

Since the company was founded in Bochum in 1987 by the technical businessman Wilfried Wilking, the Wilking Drucklufttechnik Herne GmbH deals with all facets of pneumatic technology. Due to the long experience of the founder and his staff in this field, the company quickly and successfully established on the market. This led to a satisfactory development and a related move in 1989. The new location was in the town of Herne, the birthplace of the first pneumatic hammer. The former development site, the Flottmannhallen, still exist today.

The network of dealer partners, which meanwhile extended beyond the German borders, could be served and supplied even more efficiently from Herne. But even here the capacity was soon depleted, so we began planning a new production and storage facility on the former colliery site "Friedrich der Große". The relocation to the new company building in which we are still located today, was held in summer 1997.

The quality mark "Made in Germany" is still valid for the manufacture of our products. The main components of our product range are pneumatic hammers for demolition work, mining, ripping work and drilling, pneumatic lances and spades as well as the necessary compressors.
To offer our customers a wide range of solutions, we also hold many accessories on stock at any time.

Special designs for specific applications of our users, who come from the fields of construction, mining, iron and steel industry, the crafts and the stone industry are, by now, almost to our daily life and became desirable challenges for us.

Our mission is to be a competent partner in the pneumatic business for you.
